Wynnum skateboarders get an early Christmas present

Just days before Christmas, the Wynnum North skatepark was officially opened by Cr Peter Cumming earlier today at Primrose Park, which is at the junction of Wynnum Road, Sibley Road and Wynnum North Road. It was pretty busy when we drove past earlier this afternoon.

Over the past few weeks it has been interesting seeing the workmen testing it out on their skateboards in their hard hats and hi-vis gear – it looked a bit strange, but when you think about it, it’s all part of the testing!
