This year the Wynnum Fringe is doing something different – it’s running a shorter festival called the Wynnum Fringe Taster – a ton of shows shoe-horned into just three days from Thursday 26th-Sunday 29th September.
Why? Here’s what the organisers of the festival say…
“In 2024, Wynnum Fringe is planning for success. The festival, now in its fifth year, will be moved to July 2025, with a four day taster event this September, 2024. Why? Better Weather, Happier Neighbours, and More Opportunities! Despite enduring storms and heat, we want to ensure dry conditions, less impact on nearby homes, and all the more fun for you! July will also coincide with the Brisbane 2032 Olympics, and opens up opportunities to bring more buzz to the bayside – and to you!”
