Want to go to the cinema, or to the swimming pool? You’ll be able to do both as a resident of Lato Baia

(just not at the same time)

Everybody has understandably been focused on the forthcoming opening of a brand new cinema complex in Wynnum for the first time in decades. But Wynnum is actually getting two developments in one, as immediately above the cinema complex are 66 brand new one to three bed apartments over seven stories in two towers, due to open early in 2021. The entire development is called ‘Lato Baia’, which means ‘by the bay’ in Italian.

Margaret Vote at Raine & Horne Wynnum (pictured) gave us a quick update on Lato Baia…

“With a cinema complex below and a rooftop swimming pool above – along with an entertaining area including a BBQ – for the use of all residents, this is a great opportunity for people who love the Bayside lifestyle.” Margaret said. “At this stage we’re expecting the first handovers early next year and as things stand over a third of the apartments have already been sold.”

Prices start at $360,000 for a 86m2 one bedroom plus study apartment and go up to over $1M for a 260m2 three bedroom apartment (which is already sold). All of the apartments have balconies (some large) and all kitchens and bathrooms are equipped with reconstituted stone benchtops. The basement features secure resident parking and NBN connections are already in place. All apartments on the top two levels have timber flooring, with carpet and tile throughout on lower levels.

As things stand there are still some top floor apartments available and a small number of three bedroom apartments still available.

Anyone who would like to see what the Lato Baia apartments look like can visit two show units on site, which are open 4pm-5pm during the week and 3pm-5pm at the weekend.
