Wynnum-based not for profit holding International Women’s Day breakfast to highlight homelessness in women over 55
Did you know… International Women’s Day is coming up on Friday 8th March. It might sound like a fairly new ‘day’ but in fact the first one was held over a hundred years ago on 8th March 1911, a few years after ‘National Women’s Day’ was held in the US for the first time.
To commemorate International Women’s Day and also to highlight their ‘Forgotten Women‘ project, Wynnum-based organisation Mangrove Housing is hosting an International Women’s Day breakfast at Darling & Co in Paddington on Friday 8th March 7.30am-9.00am.
Breakfast includes bottomless tea & coffee, inspirational female guest speakers, validated parking, a luxury goodie bag and a lucky door prize! Tickets are $45 each and can be booked online at…

And if you run a business and would like to support the event, get in contact with the team at Mangrove Housing – donations of vouchers and products to include in the goodie bags and in the hamper that will be raffled off at the event are most welcome!
Mangrove Housing are members of Wynnum Business and supporters of WynnumCentral.
