The next WynnumCentral Edith Street art/craft/vintage/retro market this coming Saturday 7th December is shaping up to be pretty busy – we’re expecting over 40 market stalls.
Our extra special guest is none other than Santa who will be in his grotto at the market between 10am and 12 midday – so come along then if you’d like to see him.
Happy Hour 12-1*
A number of Wynnum retailers will be taking part in our first Wynnum ‘Happy Hour’ from 12pm until 1pm. During the hour, when you spend $10 or more at a participating retailer you will receive a $10 WynnumCentral shopping voucher which you can then spend at another participating retailer – spend $10 get $10. There is $1,000 in vouchers to be claimed, so Saturday 12-1 will be a good time to do your shopping in Wynnum! (you’ll have to be quick though – if a retailer runs out of vouchers, you’ll have to go to another)
Get dressed in your best vintage/retro to be crowned the Vintage/Retro king (or queen)
Forget the Pearly Kings and Queens. Come down to the market on Saturday and take part in our competition to find the best vintage/retro dressed. At 2.30pm we’ll have a get together of all the best dressed vintage/retro marketgoers and one person will be crowned 2013 vintage/retro king or queen of Wynnum and will receive $150 in Wynnum shopping vouchers. You can always buy your outfit at the market or in the shops in Wynnum on the day!
And we’ll be running an online competition as well – details on the day.
Treasure Hunt
Plus we’ll be running the treasure hunt again.
Entertainment
There will be great street entertainment through the day, including…
- Top Show Youth Band
- Irish Trio

- Rob Crazy Bear
and many others!
We’ll also list all of the market traders participating in the market on the Markets page soon.
