Halloween Parade moves to Wynnum

4pm-9pm Saturday 29th October

After being held in Manly for the past 25 years, the Halloween Festival this year is moving a short distance north to Wynnum, where the all the fun and games of the parade, trick or treating and dressing up will be held in Wynnum Central.

The Manly Halloween Party was cancelled during the COVID pandemic, but at its last outing in 2019 it attracted a crowd of around 20,000. This year in Wynnum the organisers – Wynnum Commerce Inc (WCI) – are expecting a smaller crowd of around 5,000 to take part in the parade down Bay Terrace from 6pm on Saturday 29th October with trick or treating for children from 4pm on the day. There will also be music and buskers as well as market stalls and food trucks at the event, which will finish at 9pm.

Sponsored by Ampol and supported by Brisbane City Council, President of WCI Bernie Neylan said that the Halloween Parade would be held in Wynnum for the next three years.
