Chamber appeals for ‘Seaside Volunteers’

With a view to getting some things happening in Wynnum this year and next, the Chamber of Commerce is appealing for ‘Seaside Volunteers’. Here’s the note from Pete Baines at the Chamber:

“In 2014, Wynnum & Districts Chamber of Commerce intends to embark on an exciting range of new initiatives to help promote our region as “the place to be”. To do this we need help.

This is why one of our proposed priorities for 2014 is to establish SEASIDE VOLUNTEERS, a group for volunteers and run by volunteers. We are seeking expressions of interest from community minded “seasiders” who would like to attend an information session on a date TBA in November, to learn more about the activities and events we are proposing …. and who may wish to be involved in the planning, preparation and implementation of these local projects and events.

If you know of anyone who may be interested and has a few hours to spare each week, please ask them to email [email protected].”
