Parking survey results
Councillor Peter Cumming asked residents for some feedback on parking in Wynnum Central, so we decided to ask the same questions and passed the results on to the councillor.
We had 83 people respond to the survey, with 72.3% saying they thought that Wynnum Central has a parking problem. When it came to extending the 2 hour limits to 3 hours or longer, respondents were more divided, with only 48.2% in favour of the idea.
There was however much more agreement on the subject of Council encouraging business owners and employees to park off street in the proposed new council car park on Charlotte Street, with 81.9% in favour of this proposal.
