Key points
- Booths open at 8am and close at 6pm
- To avoid the crowds, vote in the afternoon
- Phone voting is an option if you can’t leave your home – call 1300 912782; it is for people who are…physically impaired, seriously unwell, in an advanced stage of pregnancy, not mobile, or in quarantine or self-isolating on the advice of their medical practitioner. You can register for phone voting from 8am up until noon today and, once registered, voting can occur until 6pm.
- If you’re going in person, don’t forget to take your own pencil and keep at least 1.5m away from everyone else
