Be grateful!

There’s a lot to be said for being grateful, and the Christian Science Reading Room in Florence Street, as reported recently in the Wynnum Herald, is inviting locals to express their gratitude, literally.

In a move to combat loneliness, domestic tensions and alcoholism over the holiday period, they are asking members of the Wynnum community to write down their reasons to be grateful at a small table on the footpath outside the reading room, and these messages are being put up in the window.

As you can see there are already quite a few!

The Reading Room is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-3.30pm and on Tuesday 10am-1pm if you would like to contribute.
