Well the holidays are nearly over (although some of us have been back at work for a few weeks now…) and what better way to see them out than with an Australia Day celebration. It’s going to be down at Bandstand Park at the waterfront, with all the standard things – damper, tea, sausages, facepainting and other stuff, all supported by funds from the Wynnum Manly Ward Community Fund. Be there or be square. If it’s raining (let’s face it quite possible) there will be a morning tea instead at the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club from 9am. Otherwise the event is 7am to midday.
