Illuminations festival over for another year
The 2016 Illuminations Festival went off with a bang – literally – on 18th June with the event again finishing up with a spectacular fireworks display.
With a new layout to accommodate an expected larger crowd than last year (this year it’s estimated 15,000 people came along), the festival got a thumbs up from respondents to a post event survey put out by the organisers, with 90.9% of respondents saying they would recommend the festival to others.

The organisers are already making plans for 2017 and a date has already been chosen – make sure you put Saturday 17th June 2017 in your diary!
